When the first plane hit, A fire in our hearts was lit. That fire wanted revenge for the attack, It will stay in our hearts forever, because time can't go back. When the centers started burning, We started learning. That the World is not fair, And evil is not that rare. When people started dying, The World started crying. The air was filled with smoke, People started to choke. There had been sadness and madness leading to tears, Based on the fact of these terrorist fears. But now we really must rise out of these ashes, From this one day event of the Twin Tower crashes. Fortunately there were some victims who live, And people all around the country to give. They gave many things such as gifts to show their love, For the people that were murdered who now shine above. The victims of this act touched many people in the heart, As they lay their final rest as the towers fell apart. *****
