Punjabi Manch Extends Moral
Support to SPEEA
KENT, WA, U.S.A.
March 10, 2000
Hello Everyone at the SPEEA ( Boeing ) picket line,
I did get your email and did show my moral support yesterday. Please send
any future email to my personal email address at
editor@punjabi-manch.net instead of sending it to my Boeing email
address. Yesterday, in order to show my moral support as per your email
request, I went out to join the strikers at the picket line during my
lunch time which is my unpaid private time. The guard at the gate took
note of it to inform this incident to a secret control room. After
finishing my lunch, I went inside during the remainder of the lunch time
to call my sick children at home. Boeing jammed the phone lines. This is
how low this management has gone. They have turned it into a war
between YOU and THEM and a war on them too who dare show moral support for your
cause. This is sickening. Yesterday I heard the Boeing announcement about
5000 more layoffs. This ploy is even more sickening. My suggestion to
Phil Condit and Harry Stonecipher is, " Gentlemen ! Show some backbone and get rid
of a few layers of managers instead of the employees as you do not need
that many managers. If Wall Mart and some other companies can do it
without that many layers, so can you. This way you will become less
dependent on Chinese Funny Money too by selling them a few less planes.
This will help save the brain of the company, cleanse your soul and save
the future of this country."
My friends ! Hang in there. Truth is on your side and the Boeing
Management has a cancer growing inside. This management is now afraid of
even the innocent, little sick children trying to talk to their dads
during dads's lunch breaks. This only demonstrates the cowardice and the moral
bankruptcy of this management and the shaky ground it is standing on.
Sincerely,
Amrik S. Kang, Editor
and Unrepresented Salaried Boeing Employee |
