I think you are aware of the fact that religion and politics can not be separated in Sikhism. Moreover, in this free country, everybody has the right to a free expression of his/her views. I have the right to my opinion and you have the right to yours. Nobody has the right to ask other people to shut up. Even Al Gore or Bill Clinton do not have the right to ban Freedom of Speech. You are more than welcome to send your essay or article outlining a different viewpoint to post on our website.

i am sincerely gratified tt u have responded to my little tantrum. pls forgive me if i have offended ur person. u see i am an old bean who through life's turmoil has learned tt religion & politics is a lethal concoction. sadly i feel/think sometimes (actually most times) tt religion IS politics. i must be wrong?! because if this is true then my rose tinted view of religion is tarnished forever. am i wrong in stating/believing tt religion was/has always been a personal thing?? between u and ur maker?? tt GOD lives in me?? actually i am more inclined to think tt he lives in my mind (conscious or otherwise)!! as my physical being is only ....... carbon!!

well, its encouraging to see tt u are an advocate of free speech (if there is such a thing). u see i live in a country where this concept does not exist SO pls forgive my insolence. in all sincerity do u really believe in the concept of free speech??!! and if u do, pls advise as to what can be done in places where this concept is totally alien. sorry, there i go again giving u grief!!

for ur kind indulgence i make u aware of the fact tt i live in a country where a brilliant man has stated tt religion & politics MUST not mix and he has proved it time & time again. our society is multi lingual, multi racial, etc.......... sadly the only thing tt binds us is MONEY??!! not free speech.

a job to go to, food on the table and a roof on our heads. basic needs ya! provide them & life goes on. such a simple concept tt evades most govt's.

so one has a job to go to, food on his table and a roof over his head.................... WHAT NEXT??

answer PLAY POLITICS or RELIGION??!! or following ur contention PLAY BOTH POLITICS & RELIGION??!!

sadly i am tired. this debate is weary. its just tt it really saddens me tt because some people insist on mixing politics with religion................fathers & brothers, mother & sisters, sons & daughters DIE VERY PAINFUL AND AGONIZING DEATHS. all to achieve political, selfish and human ambitions.

we have lost our leaders and followers all because of politics.

if we can/could only concentrate on being ONE with GOD, we will never have to suffer persecution, humiliation, disgrace and rape.

pls educate ur readership to be GOD fearing. taking another life is NOT right even if one dear to u has been taken. trust in GOD to even the score.

after all this life of our is 'ik din da mela' in the whole context.

without GOD we are nothing.

thus, pls never ever mix religion with politics. its only when the 2 mix (usually man made situations) to attain certain objectives, tt we see hardship and sorrow, hate and envy, pride and arrogance. pls endeavour not to succumb to these human shortcoming to often. after all we all are human with the vices tt come along with being human. its in our bilolgical makeup and is inherent in us. give urself some face and be kind and accepting of the fact tt one cannot be good all the time. be realistic with urself and ur GOD. try to be good, kind, loving and considerate. its only when u try tt others will respond. they are human too.pls don't preach religion & politics together. its a longgggggggggg road to .................. GRIEF!!??
