Akhree naam AKrI nwmu
akharee saalaah. AKrI swlwh]
Yet, words are medium to call Thy name, and by words we glorify.

Geet gunh gaah. gIq gux gwh]
By words come spiritual wisdom, sing glory, and come to know Thy virtues.

By words appear writing, speech and language. By words the destiny is informed.
Jin aih likhai ijin eyih ilKy

Jiv phurmai ijv Purmwey
tiv taiv pahai. iqv iqv pwih]
Lord alone—who writes the destiny, is beyond karma. As Thy ordains, so do we acquire.
